Here's a bug for all you betas. The play-by-play says that the ball went over the third base bag, and that the thirdbaseman (by name) lunged for it and missed, but the ball animation happened on the first base side.

Haven't had time to discover any game-play issues yet ( or really, to do much more than give the game a very cursory look ), but it appears to be noticeably faster, very clean interface that is familiar yet polished up, and the download/install went without a hitch---no small triumph for a tech-challenged old guy like me. All in all, very nice effort fellas,
And the duck is a nice touch. |

Just got it installed on my MacBook Pro. Still don't like the PISD installer but it is a hell of a lot faster installing than OOTP8 was. I like the new interface colors. Seems a lot cleaner than v8 was.
Best thing I've noticed in the three minutes I've had the game open? I can scroll with the mouse!!!! Woohoooo! Simming 1951 of the ABA right now and it sure is quick. Simming 1951 in the ABA right now

First off,the download and import of my season(which is in mid season) went off without a hitch and works beautifully.as far as gameplay goes,I love the crowd noise,it definitely adds to the game. The game also plays much faster for all you PBP'ers. And finally,I'm in 1964 right now so I can only speak for that, but the game seemed much more attuned with history. In OOTP 8,I thought there was just a tad too much offense for the mid 60's.This seems to be rectified going by my game and the box scores of all of the others.Overall I couldn't be happier.

All I know is that I am screwed. I am going to be setting up my new league for the next month.
Between setting up the logos, uniforms, schedules, league rules, etc.... I figure that every other part of my life is toast for some time. Thanks for destroying my life Markus!!!!

Really just been fooling around so far and I really like the interface. I can tell this is going to be fun after some minor things are cleared up such as the fake managers/personnel and the random AI stuff. Also, is there any reason why most of the player numbers are wrong? Just something that seems weird to me, that so many players' numbers would be off.
