Attn: Players using the built in MLB roster

You should go to "retired players" tab under the history section, and sort by team, then reverse it. Anyone who shows up with a team should be manually unretired, or else stats and such will be messed up.

Just a bit of info I hope people find helpful before before they get too deep into their MLB games.

Update from below: Also go to the free agent list and delete the same players you just unretired. These will be duplicates of the real things and may also cause problems.

I count 11 in my game. Oddly enough, Liriano isn't one of them.

Can you post the names. That way people know who they are looking for.

I was wrong. It's more than 11, and Liriano is there. My sorting got messed up at some point, it looks like.

Once you unretire the players in question, I notice they appear in the free agent list linked to their team. Can an AI or human controlled team sign them from free agency even though they are also listed on the team's roster?

I believe it was suggested to delete the duplicated player from the Free Agent screen to avoid future problems. I did that without any issue.

Possibly, but if you right click on the ones in the FA pool you can delete them

Sorry, I'm a bit clueless about editing in this game. How do you manually unretire them?

Make sure your in comish mode and then go to the player's profile. Select the Action menu item and you'll see an option to unretire.
