Searching for .exe

Uninstalled yesterday and reinstalled a fresh copy of the game with the patch. Played a couple games in my historical league last night, no problems.

This morning, the short-cut icon is gone on the desktop and the .exe icon is there. When I click it to start it says..searching for ootp.exe. And it searches and searches and I have no way of starting the game. All files are there, but I can't locate the game .exe anywhere.

Ideas? Solutions? Please help. Thanks.

Jeff

Are you on PC?

If you installed to the default location, it should be in C:\Program Files\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 9\

If you're on Mac, I'll have to hand over to a Mac expert.

Yeah RedSox, on a PC. Yesterday when I did this, I remember a compression error or something like that that popped up, I hit ignore and everything installed successfully. Also, we did have a storm last night and electricity went out.

Maybe I should uninstall and try again. Your thoughts? There is no .exe file anywhere.

If there's no exe anywhere, it's probably the most prudent thing to do, to uninstall and try again.
