real coaches

I have not been a big fan of fictional leagues. I like reall players and such, because you have an idea going in, who is who and such. I would also like to have acttual coaches.

Due to time constraints, and the many more important things that accompany a release this wasn't done for OOTP 9. No big deal.

I figured I could find a coaches.dat somewhere, and replace the existing one, and there we go. The only coaches.dat file I can find seems to be from Melo's set on Padre's site.

After putting the coaches.dat file into OOTP 9 it tells me the file is corrupt. So i'm thinking maybe this was done for another version. Does anyone know what version of OOTP this was done for?

This also brings up a second question. If this is corrupt, or incompatable why do other leagues from older version seem to work fine by just putting them in the saved games folder?

Make sure to make a backup before swapping those files out. Sorry, but I don't have an answer for your question.
