joe unknown DFA

playing a fun league (non historical) and every 2 games i get a stupid pop up saying i have a player designated for assignment today and i have to fix it. well, ok. i am playing in a high school feeder and you do not get a DFA/waiver option in the transaction screen. ok. so i go to my "reserve roster" or whatever and there are like 5 Joe Unknowns there. so i delete them, and 2 days later i have more Joe Unknowns! i checked "prevent ai roster moves" but it still happens. am i missing a setting, why does my team keep picking up joe unknown, and then putting them on the DFA list.

well, i deleted around 200 Joe Unknowns from my available player list, and unclicked ghost players. the issue has not popped up again yet... maybe it was a rogue issue importing a ootp8 game...

So you're saying it was already "unclicked" prior to importing and during import it changed this setting??

I've also had a Joe Unknown in my new OOTP 9 league so it'd say its most likely not only an importing issue. However I only had 1 not 200 like you said so maybe the two incidents are not related at all.

i think it was clicked before the convert. maybe if i'm feeling sexy i'll re-click ghost players and see if the joe unknown plague returns
