Historical Player Added to Drafts in Fictional Games?

Hi All,
Okay, before an inaugural draft, it's pretty easy to add historical players to the draft pool. The way I discovered is to import a specific historical player on the free agent page, edit his ratings if you don't want him to be an established player yet, then add him to a team, then release all players into the draft pool.

But is is possible, when your fictional league is already established, to add a historical player to a new player draft and turn him into a raw recruit, with low current rating and potential to equal his actual potential?
