Inagural Draft Issues

For some reason, when I set up my league, the game appears to have had some issues.

I started this league from scratch, so the game had an inaugural draft on Jan 2. I ran them, and all teams have full rosters now. However, the game appears to have scheduled another inaugural draft on Jan 3. When I try and advance the game, the second inaugural draft hasn't been done. There is no draft order, and when I try to continue the draft, the game crashes to the desktop.

Is there any way to fix this, or has anyone even seen it before? I've put a ton of work into this, and I really don't want to start over.

You might try saving it as a template, then creating a new game from template, and making sure NOT to check the "Hold Inaugral Draft" box. It at least might be worth a try.

Hey cnield - this same issue happened to me a few patches ago when the game was released. I couldn't find any way to get past that 2nd draft. I had to ditch the whole things and start anew. I had no idea what caused it. Good luck.

For anyone else who might have this problem, I figured out how to get around it.

I simmed forward to the second draft, then went to League setup and used the "release all players and schedule inaugural draft". The order showed up, and the game proceeded normally. I have no idea what caused it though.

I just ran into the same problem with a fictional league I created. When I click continue draft, for the second draft, the game crashes.
