External Mods Suggestion Thread

I would have posted this in the mods forum but quite frankly, mostly the modders frequent there as well as those looking for a specific mod. Hoping to reach the masses, I post here, wanting to know...

Outside of the game itself, is there a Mod that you wish existed? If so, what is it? What should it do for you? How should it look and function?

I am in no way soliciting ideas for mods to create myself, but, I was just wondering what ideas were out there that could possibly lead to a utility or mod that would make the game even more enjoyable than it already is.

I would love for there to be a mod that can put together a page similar to what you can find at baseball-reference.com. Put together things such as Black Ink/Gray Ink Tests, HOF Standard/HOF Monitor, Most similar players statistically, most similar player by age, etc.

There is a good mod out right now that does some of those, but I would love something that put together the complete presentation including a web display of some sort. If I remember right, back years ago Cato used to do that, but I don't think Cato is around anymore for ootp9 (as best as I can tell).

I miss Cato. I loved the Black Ink/Gray Ink test and similar players features.

Some of these could be implemented into OOTP 10. I will put in the request and link to your suggestion here.

If its not added to OOTP 10,I would love to see a manager database implemented that includes all of the real MLB managers as well as their strategic preferences.For example,Sparky Anderson would acutally behave like "Captain Hook".I'm not sure if a mod like this is even possible,but it would be awesome!

Hmm, I would think this merits an individual thread in the suggestions forum. I'll ask that this gets moved over there, and then ask that things get formatted in Battists preferred style.

Battists apparently has taken an advisory role in a Presidential campaign.

I want a team editor.

I want it to be able to use it to enter new players in a league either by statistics or by ratings, or to clone or edit or delete existing players.

I want it to offer group select, group edit, group delete, group retire, group release, group promote, and group demote.

It should look like an editor.

I would love a real schedule generator. One that will create unbalanced schedules. Stickware where are you? One that would do away with every team being off on the same day.
