Willle McCovey, for my beloved Giants, hit (rolled?) a Lo2B(max) with the bases loaded and no outs to end a playoff game. Ouch. It was his number, too! I had to roll a 12 to get the result. Almost EVERY other number would have won the game, with home runs on 5, 6, 7, and 8. |

I had a pitcher throw a no-hitter in Game 7 of the League Championship Series on the way to winning it all that season.
Watching the replay, I realized he came within one out of a perfect game, which made it kinda bittersweet. |

I just had a speedster I called up from AA for the playoff drive pinch run for Varitek at first, steal second, steal third, and steal home on consecutive pitches. I figured I would try it with two outs and Pedroia at bat, I just didn't think it would work.
This was in game 3 of the ALDS. |

Despite losing the game on a huge Cleveland Naps comeback,Athletics right fielder Socks Seybold went 5 for 5 with a double 3 triples and a home run with 3 RBI and 4 runs scored.

I set the major league record for most wins to start a season without a loss by a pitcher (I had looked it up - Rube Waddell started 19-0).
Finally lost after making it to 20-0. Still, he won his 20th game on July 18th. Prior to the loss, he had left every game with a win in his pocket - the bullpen took away three of them. |

My game isn't loaded right now, but I have a couple of cool things that I remember that I'll post when I get a chance to open up my game:
2 no-hitters SP go 23-0 in a season Back-to-back home runs to win game 7 of the WS Some random guy hit a grand slam in his ONLY ml ab, which I thought was pretty cool. |

And since when do I have an army? But thanks for the good thought, Afino. I officially put the suggestion in some weeks ago.

I think mine should qualify, although it is not a single game achievement. I think it is something special, however. Toronto Blue Jays 08 record 60-100 (dead last in the majors) - Toronto Blue Jays 09 record 88-74 (edged out Boston for the wildcard and went on to win the WS).

It was Opening Day 2018. Cleveland at Detroit. Both starting pitchers had a no hitter through 9 innings. Detroit wins 1-0 on a walkout HR in the 10th. Great way to start the season!

Thats sounds awesome, was either one of the teams yours or did it just happen in your league, not that it makes it any less impressive,I was just wondering what it was like if you were playing the game out and if your team won or lost and how it felt

I've had 2 guys go 7 for 7 in games before.
I've had 3 games with 2 different pitchers record 20k's in a game. The guy that did it twice has the record with 22. There have been 8 times where one of my players has hit for the cycle. I've played out 5 no-hitters. One pitcher did it in back-to-back starts 4 days apart. I've seen triple plays in V6.5, but can't remember if I've seen one in V9. I also think I had a pitcher go 30-0 back in V6.5, but I don't remember.

I was playing as the Tigers. I simmed to the 6th inning and played it out until the end. It was pretty awesome to see my Tigers bounce back after a 100 loss season the previous year. By the way, Detroit finished the year at 82-80 and had another SP pitch a no-hitter. This is why I love this game!
