My favourite was in a hyper-offense fictional softball league, when Philadelphia scored 37 runs in the bottom of the ninth...and lost, 61-60.

Hey Afino
a bit off topic but is your avatar Jhonas Enroth of the Portland Pirates? I'm a season ticket holder and I recognize his pads and the Oakhurst Dairy sign on the boards at the Cumberland County Civic Center. |

- Had a pitcher throw a no-hitter with 1BB then a 1 hitter with 0 BB in his next start.
- Hit 5 straight HR, pales in comparison to the 6 in a row above. - Took a perfect game into the 9th with a 40 year old pitcher who has been the best in the league since its inception 3 years ago. He is the career leader in most pitching stats but his ratings, especially "Stuff", took a tumble this year and has been medicore with a .500 record after winning 21+ games the first three years. This year his ERA is 3.90 or so, after years of 2.00 or so, but for this game he had 2 outs in the 9th before giving up a HR and ending with a one hit SO. He got a shut-out in his next game too.

Talk about a heartbreaker,I just had Steve carlton in my 1972 dynasty go into the 9th inning with a perfect game only to see it snubbed out by leadoff man Johnny Grubb.Lefty would retire the next three batters to end the game with one hit allowed and 11 K's.Here's the box score.

The coolest thing that I've ever seen while playing out a game was one where everyone in my starting lineup hit a home run. The pitcher was the second one to homer, so I got that out of the way early.
My number 2 hitter was the last to do it. I noticed everyone but him had a HR, so when he came up in the seventh, I was totally cheering him on to homer (he definitely had the power to do so). He grounds out. Then it looks like he'll get the chance to try again in the ninth after my #8 batter gets a hit. I pinch hit for the pitcher and the pinch hitter grounds into a double play. After a stressful foul-a-thon, my lead-off hitter walks (thus giving my #2 the opportunity to try) and after quickly going 0-2, he gets a hit, but it didn't seem to be a home run. Then I read "he's rounding third and heading home..." An inside-the-park home run.

Do you see a lot of inside the park homerun? I never saw one in over a season while I played out all of my games! |

That's the only one I've seen since OOTP 6. But I did see two in OOTP6.

What's the most RBI's in one game you've seen (in a realistic universe)? In the same league, there was a guy that 3 HR's, 11 RBI in one game. At the time, I didn't think that much of it. I was impressed, but didn't seem entirely shocked. Now that I think back, 11 RBI is nuts. |

Recently got done with playing out every game in a season for the first time.
Ended up with the worst team in my league's history (45 wins). Had a TP and one against me Had an ITP HR and one against. Had a no-no tossed against me. The Outstanding Pitcher of Year (on AI team) won his 2nd straight OPA, also won the Newcomer of the Year award last year (2 yrs, 3 awards). HE NEVER STARTED A GAME IN HIS LIFE (feeder league stats incl) before getting to the majors. 2nd start (maybe first, it was on 4/6) of his life was a No-No. I think the AI made the right choice moving this guy from the bullpen.
