Greatest Single Game OOTP Achievements

I thought it would be cool to have one thread where the community could share their greatest moments in OOTP,like No-Hitters,Perfect games,4+ homer games,7+ hit games, triple plays,25+ inning games, stuff like that.Maybe someone can sticky this and we could keep a running record of it.Personally,I've never done any of those things in the 3+ seasons that I've played out,how bout you guys...

Great idea. I'm not home with my solo league right now but pretty sure I can find some achievements that qualify.

This is a list of things I've accomplished (nothing by the computer) while playing my games out. Incomplete list, I'll have to think up what else I've done:

- Hit for the cycle (twice)
- Turned a 5-4-3 triple play
- Matched the 1954 Indians with a 110-44 record in a season (oddly enough, I did this in 1953)
- Scored 32 runs in a single game, including at least 10 runs in two seperate innings!

and my personal favorite even though it goes against "single game":

- Came back from being down 3-0 in the World Series, closing it out with a 3-hit CGSO in game 7!

Last night I scored 15 runs in the 4th inning of a game (ended up winning 18-1). 19 men came to the plate and the inning's leadoff man was 1-2 (the hit was a HR) plus a walk in that inning alone. AI changed pitchers 3 times.

I am in the month of May playing every game with every team (2008 schedule and teams). I had a perfect game with Andy Sonanstine of all people lol. It was actually quite nerve racking, hoping that he would do it just so I could see what happens.

While testing OOTP 3, I had Alex Rodriguez hit 5 HRs in a single 9-inning game. And no, this was not a bug ... anyone else seen a guy hit 5 HRs in a game under normal circumstances?

Never done that, but I've had 6 RBI's by one player in one inning by a grand slam and a 2-RBI double.

I've never even hit three HR in one game

I can always count on a walk or five after I hit two.

Holy crap, that's mad. I've seen 3, but rarely.

I've never had a guy throw a no-hitter in a game I played out. I got within 2 outs in a high-school league I made, but a single over teh 2nd baseman with one out in the 9th ended the chance.

Omar Infante had 12 RBIs in a game I played in one time.

That is absolutely insane!!!! The chances of that happening have to be less that a tenth of a percent

I've had Socks Seybold hit 2 home runs in a game which seems pedestrian, but it really isn't considering that it was in 1906 and the league leader in homers will end up with around 12 or so.

Don't know if it qualifies as a greatest achievement, but I've had a game ending triple play. This was on a hit-and-run with Wagner catching a line drive and then throwing to 2nd and then 1st to double up the two runners.

Later this season we went on to win the World Series after rallying in the 9th inning in both game 4 and 5 of the NLDS when we were two and three outs respectively from elimination, the latter a three run comeback to tie and then win in the 10th.

I couldn't believe it either when it happened to me. Not that I have played out too many games, but that was the first ever triple play I've seen. And I was worried about losing the game a few seconds before.

I've played out over 3 seasons(1949 Phils,1964 Phils,1905-06 Athletics) worth of games and thats the only triple play I've been a part of.I've also never had a no hitter or a perfecto for or against me.
