Tony Larussa/Oldtime Ballpark Set?
Anyone know where I can still download a complete set of the superb ballpark graphics used in the Tony Larussa and Oldtime Baseball game?
There are sets of these on padresfans site, but those can only be loaded in Puresim. Was wondering if I can get them somewhere for OOTP. |

You might want to ask Padresfan directly. He created those packs, so he may well have the source images somewhere.

I loaned the original game disks to a guy years and years ago who made a set of them for OOTP. I may still have the zip files he made of them somewhere, I'll look.

As a stadium junkie, I think I've saved about every stadium set I ever came across. I've got a set from years ago labeled TLB/OTB. About 3.5 Megs. Let me know where to send it.

jcomey@gmail.com would be nice. Just what do you have? I'm looking for as many fictional stadiums as I can find.

These are the Henry/MD Tony LaRussa set. They used to be available on Baseball Sim Central, but checking there now, its seems the site is pretty defunct....
There's a 1995 set and an Old Time BB set... These are the best I've seen, so we owe many thanks to the guys that made them available. Sorry, but because of the limits on this forum I'll have to post them individually. It won't take the zip files, so this is best I can do.... |

I think that's it. Sorry I couldn't give you a couple zip files or a download link, but I guess this is better than nothing.
I don't recall there being anything for Oakland or Cleveland Municipal Stadium in the sets. And no Baker Bowl or League Park. So a big thanks for the guys that did these years ago... Henry/Big City and Malleus Dei!!! These are superb ballpark backgrounds. Last edited by jdew; 11-17-2008 at 10:34 PM. |

Wow. Thanks, Jdew.
It's great that folkes saved these. I used to have them, but somehow misplaced them. Oh, by the way, the Wrigly-L.A. field is a creation and is not part of the original set, but nice to have anyway. However, there is one stadium missing from this set. It's Oakland-Alameda Coliseum. If anyone (Coolyvol?) still has that one can you please post it here and the set will be complete. Thanks for your efforts to find these, guys. Brings back fond memories from my Tony Larussa/Oldtime Baseball days. Last edited by DreamTeams; 11-18-2008 at 02:46 AM. |
