Market Size help (Historical)
I'm currently creating a 1901 MLB historical template that I can use to start a historical sim from 1901 onwards. I have all the correct rosters and have input ballpark capacities, modifiers, and dimensions, but I'm stumped when it comes to fan interest, fan interest modifier, fan loyalty, and market size. Any help in what would be the correct values for the teams in 1901 would be greatly appreciated.
Team financials are also a tough aspect to simulate for teams from 1901. I know there was no revenue sharing at the time so I have turned it off. I have also set the maximum cash on hand to an astronomical amount because in the early days I don't believe there was a limit to cash on hand. Is this assumption correct or am I possibly missing something? Did radio stations pay a fee to broadcast in the early days? If not, would putting all the media revenue to $0 be a wise thing to do? I really want to get this as close to historically accurate as possible. Any and all help is welcome. Thanks.
