Is there a way to do three team trades?

Or even with more teams?

I could not find anything about adding a third team on the "Initiate Trade" screen

No you can't do it. And given the AI required, I doubt you'll be able to do it any time soon in any game

They can't be done directly in the game, however, if you can create a combination that works then it can be done as a series of two-team trades.

You certainly can, but I agree with Cryomaniac that this is something so complex to code that I'd be surprised to see it anytime soon.

Don't agree, though I'm no expert, of course. Seems to me the AI would do one more iteration of evaluations and all that would be needed would be an additional trading window for the third team.

For player-instigated trades you're probably right. I had foolishly jumped to the conclusion that benjy was asking about the AI initiating a three-way trade, when in fact he was asking nothing of the kind.

Well, you could still be right anyway. I'm no programmer, just a long-time co-worker and interested observer of them.
