OOTP10 - Any idea when?

Just curious if it has been mentioned the general time frame for release of OOTP10. Will it be closer to opening day or closer to the all-star game? I'm getting the itch to play again but hate to spend a lot of time with the current version if the next version is right around the corner.

Hard core testing has not yet started. It will commence very shortly, perhaps this weekend.

OOTP 2007 was in beta tester's hands for approximately 10-12 weeks. Previous returns are not indicative of future results. Your mileage may vary. Your dentist is the one who does not recommend chewing sugarless gum.

I better go find the Magic 8 ball.

My take on it is sometime from May to September, depending on how many changes are made during the course of the testing and how thorough the testing actually is.

But you never know.

Was v2006 your first version? Pre 2006, ie 6.5 and before the standard answer given when someone asked about release or patches was "When it's ready and fully tested" or words to that effect from Steve Kuffrey. I almost posted it myself
