League and feeder question

I am currently simming a solo historical league with fictional players. In my back story I am using I want to begin to have NCAA feeder league start up in the early sixties,(it is is 1950 right now). I would like some opinions on if this will be a good idea. I have searched the forums and they seem split on if the feeder league is worth it. I have a full set of minors I have been adding, so adding a new league is no issue for me, but will it generate a realistic number of star, good and sucky players?

It will give you more good players.

Well, he just probably needs to do some testing before he implements it into his actual league. If he has the game create less players outside of the college league he could get the draft classes to about the same level if he wants. He would just have to play around with it in a test file.

I've done as many tests as you can imagine. Less Feeder Leagues, create less players, so many other options and I always wind up with a ton of good players.

Yeah, I would in the end like to have the draft completely fed by the feeder league. I guess I will set up a test league and see what I can get. In your opinion is it worth it? I am happy with the randomly generated fictional players, but just trying to create a little more immersion factor for me.

in the OTBA our feeder leagues suck, and we have to beef up the draft yearly...
