Cash Maximum question..

Hello, wondering if anyone can help..

i have started a new historcal leauge with the white sox(1919), and every year, i make about 200k, but the following year my starting balance is always around the 50k/60k amount.

I have set the cash maximum to 30 million, but at the end of the world series it always set it back to 50k/60k and all the money i make just vanishes. I have turned off revenue sharing, the team owner doesn't control the team budget so all money should go straight back into the team and there's no salaray cap.

Is there anyway i can stop the money just dissapearing, or do i have to (as i've been doing at the beginning of every finicial year) going into commish mode and putting the money back in?

cheers

This is just a shot in the dark, but is the 30M in today's terms and the game is converting that into 1919 terms? Maybe try upping it to 100M and see if there's a change.

It's a pita, but what I had to do with my abortive attempt at a 1962 league was go through in Commissioner mode and edit up the 'cash' and 'budget' values by the amount they were short every year on January 1.

Doing it for your own team is something of a joy, but doing it for the Yankees….

i'll have to check the other teams finances as well then at the end of the ws then., also could we not just also add an ignore option for the cash maximium setting?

i also did try and put it to 900m , but it still resulted with the same affect

Have you tried setting it to zero? I don't know that that would fix it, but broken is broken, so it really couldn't make things worse.
