this ever happen to you..

in a solo play 1960 tigers, i have three players released on 10-15-1960. the playoffs ended on the 13th of october with the world series finishing. my team was 6 games back so i simmed on 9-26-1960 "auto play until event--end of playoffs". all these players were on the active roster none were fa to be. all had less than 6 years and should have gone to arbitration. no other team had releases as i check the transaction page for that..
what gives??

thanks

edit
i still have 3 other players on the "front office>possible free agents" screen so my team and others have not lost them yet to the fa pool.

Not sure I completely understand this but here goes;

  • If the Tigers are your team, do you have complete control? Check the manager options tab to make sure that the AI is not controlling roster moves
  • Make sure you are not inadvertently on vacation (same page). Again you don't want the AI in control
  • Is there a salary cap that could be exceeded by arbitration awards to these three players? The AI would still have to control for that to happen though.
  • Are you running in "Commissioner mode"; I've heard that can cause some problems.
Can't think of anything else.

thanks check on first three bullet points should not be the problem: i have complete control of the tigers, not on vacation, slary is not an issue as we are runnng low and under budget.

but i am playing in commissioner mode so i can make any necessary changes.

thanks

See the link about being in commissioner mode.

OOTP Baseball Manual - Other Commissioner Functions

The key point is they don't recommend auto play while in "act as" mode.
