Getting players into the draft pool

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but there is currently no way in OOTP9 to get a player (that's already been in the league) into the draft pool after it's generated, correct? I think I've been down this problem before, but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.

The only way to add players to the draft pool is upon creation. If they're already established in the league, then the best thing you could do is create a new player and edit him to clone the guy you want in there.

Of course it wouldn't be a 100% clone because there's no way of knowing whether a player will reach his potential or not, but it's a work around.

Thanks. I've actually been changing the name of a scrub draft pool player into the name of the player to be drafted, drafting him, releasing him and then manually moving the real player onto the team. Only problem is that I have to correct all of the history files this way to get the proper player ID in there and player history onto the right player.
