Fun "Cheat"

I've found a new fun "Cheat" (Life Time W.Sox fan) I choose a year, then Import a historical player and see what a difference 1 player might makle to a team.
Latest one I retired Jim Thome in 2008 and imported him from 1996,Shockingly it made a difference !!.310 ave. 55 HR. 140 RBI's 130 runs scored, huge OBP. Won series
Another fun one imported Luke Appling SS into 2006 (my favorite player, probably because he was the 1st player I ever saw on TV,in a bar/bookie joint when I was 9 yrs old, but, thats another story)
Try it sometime with your favorite teams/players its really fun and interesting.

Yeah, I don't think importing Tom Herr to the 2009 Cardinals will help them.

Maybe you should try importing a bullpen from the past, or how about Gavin Floyd from 2008, or even Lance Johnson? It'd be nice to have someone on the modern team that can get a basehit instead of home run or strikeout. It's only May, and I'm already jaded, definitely the Chicago baseball way
