Talk about parity....
I'm playing a MLB league and just finished the 2010 regular season. The day after the season ends the Rays and Yankees have a one game playoff. The day after that, the Mariners and Yankees have a one game playoff. The day after that, the Rockies and Diamondbacks have a one game playoff.
Boy the Rays and Yankees are in the Divisional Series (with the Rays getting the WC) and the Rockies and DBacks are as well, though of course none of the teams are playing each other yet. How strange. Bud Selig would be proud.

What were the standings after 162 games?

After 162, not so sure. Looking at the standings, the Rays actually got the Division. After the playoff games...
Rays - 92 - 71 Yanks - 92 - 72 Rangers - 95 - 67 Mariners - 91 - 72 DBacks - 96 - 67 Rockies - 95-68 Edit - I'm already in 2011, so no screenshot.
