Bad Way to End a Hit Streak

Grant Young, who plays for the Padres in my universe, was on a 32 game hit streak.

In game 33, he struck out in his first at bat, argued the call, and was promptly thrown out of the game by the umpire.

Not the best way to end the streak.

Bench his @$$ for stupidity.

Anyhow, most I saw was a 54-game streak. Must have sucked to come so close but not make it. (still since it was a Cubs player it would have been the NL record, small consolation)
