Who would you choose for Pitcher of the Year?

Just looking for a little bit of help choosing some awards for my first full season in my dynasty starting in 1834. Each team plays 204 games, and these 2 pitchers are the tops in my American league. At first it looked cut and dry, but now im not sure which one to give the nod to. What do you guys think?

Jeff Pollard 41-21 record, 576.1IP, 493HA, 134ER, 2.09ERA, 324K, 7 SHO, 40BB, 48 Complete Games

or

Jose Ramirez 37-19 record, 555.1IP, 395HA, 131ER, 2.12ERA, 515K, 10 SHO, 141BB, 36 Complete Games

The game awarded Pollard the number 1 slot for the award, but I always like to compare and have the final choice on who gets the award in my leagues. In this case I think i would give the nod to Ramirez, except for the obsene amount of walks that he has compared to Pollard. What do you guys think, are those so many walks that he should lose the award, or should they be overlooked in favor of the dominating strikeout totals that he had? I wish i knew how to do a poll for this....

I agree with the game's selection. Pollard's K to BB ratio tips the scale for me, edges out in ERA (perhaps meaningless to some), and a third more complete games. Overall, with a comparison of that many innings, strikeouts per 9 can't be the dominant factor, IMHO.
