Where I came from (not really, but I wanted to say that), with a name like that you had two choices: bully or be bullied!

Some people tend to be face-heavy. See http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...g-fatness.html

Some people are the reverse, bottom-heavy. I'm 5'-3", 295lbs, and I look a lot like this from the neck up:

Like this guy?

He's what? 5'7" and 156 lbs? or is that too generous?

Or were you thinking more like this face?

even in his older age, he still looks pudgy - though he was just avg in weight... not particulary fat.

Also, here is an updated "Beaker" image for your viewing pleasure (or displeasure).

Contemplating giving him a nickname... oh the choices:

"Toothpick"
"Beaker" (but since he's playing pro ball in 1897, the name has no meaning)
"Long Neck"
"Pencil Neck"
"Stick Man"
"Flag Pole"
"Twig"
"Thin Face"

so many to choose from, but most sound so mean. remember he's 6'4" and 188 lbs...

Dreifort after u listed "Pencil Neck" it made me think of a song

YouTube - "Classy" Freddie Blassie - Dr. Demento - Pencil Neck Geek

this way he has his own theme song.

Ah, Dr. Demento. We used to listen to that religiously. Lol. ChicagoFan has a point, the best nicknames have their own theme songs...

Actually, that's my twin brother. I comb my hair but he doesn't bother. That's the only way people tell us apart.
