injured player gets injured

Has anyone seen something like this? Season is now edging into late June and a news item just appeared for this player saying he had broken his leg in a home run celebration. The thing is, the player was lost for 8 months on Opening Day with a torn labrum.

Hopefully it isn't cumulative.

Maybe he fell down the Dugout steps celebrating. Perhaps the arm strapped to his side caused his balance to be off.

I checked to see if there was anything in his game log but it was still just the Opening Day game (where he did hit a home run). Could he have possibly been injured twice & they just discovered the broken leg 2.5 months later?

Sounds like this might be an example of story-lines being messed up.

I swear I submitted a ticket about this exact thing quite a while back. I know at the very least I brought it up on the forums and was told that it would be addressed. I guess not.

Clearly he fell off of the physical therapy table and broke it.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

I think I'm going to go with him breaking it playing whiffle ball in the backyard, as far as the league goes. This is like Joba Chamberlain stuff.
