Problem small help please

Hi guys,

I would like to know how i can do something.

I create a normal league with 2013 rosters and i want to expand my league with 4 more team BUT i want to import historical Team with the rela rosters at this time like Montreal Expos of 1990 or Import New York Yankees 1977 to the league. I will rename the team name but i dont know how to import the team. I go to the league setup/expand your league but when i click to Import Historical Team i dont know which files i have to open or what i have to do to import those Historical team....

Thanx a lot for your help.

You could type in the players names from the past teams in search mode, then with the editor move them to any team you like. Thats how I do it.

I just added some 1965 Philadelphia Phillies to the 2013 Phillies(not that its going too help matters).

thanx for the help but i want to expand a league with a full team not only 1-2 player....

I have the normal MLB league but i want to add 4 more team but those 4 teams i want 4 old MLB team like the Expos 1990 with their roster at this date. I want to import the whole team not only 1 player to add to the new team... or maybe i have to add player 1 by 1 to the new team ???

Thanx for your answer and help.

And when you talk about editor youre talking about which editor ???

The player editor. Takes seconds to move a player from one team to another. Would take a few minutes to move the older teams to the present. Add as many players as you like. Add Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris to create a Yankee Superteam.

Once you type in the players name in search mode, his name will appear and it will let you know if he is retired or still active on a team. Then you hit his name again and up will come his personal page. You will need to adjust his birthday so he performs well in modern times.

Good luck. Once you start moving a few players,it becomes easier.

Are you trying to add players or teams?
To add historical teams Go to League Setup - Edit League Structure - Import Historical team. Select the historical database.ODB or the Master .cvs from the Stats folder (if it didn't load automatically you will have to navigate your way to it). Choose the year you want. Hit refresh list. Choose your team repeat. Hit generate new schedule when you are done. Oh and change the team names before hitting generate schedule if you want to.
I have never tried to add a historical team with league expansion, didn't know we could do that but the rules should be the same.
