I am trying to follow the instructions in the first blog linked by redsox45, doing the historical thing with minors. For the Major League, you change the player creation modifiers to .250. You also must uncheck the box "Automatically import historical player creation modifiers" then, right?

Yes. I actually wrote the blog prior to Markus adding the Automatically import historical player creation modifiers. It definately must be unchecked.

One other thing you likely need to do right now (until the patch comes out) is once your historical league is imported go to the Rules tab and enable the ssecondary and expanded roster size options. If you don't you may get a crash at spring training until we get the new patch.
