Uncovering Hidden Talent (scout the world) using historical rosters...

i have started several leagues using the historical database (lahman and arod) i want to start in 2005, so no more real players will be used, AND be able to scout the world for hidden talent...

is it possible to use real rosters and be able to scout other nations for talent?

if so how? what am i doing wrong?

i would truly appreciate the help

do you have the option turned on?

i believe "on" is the default. i can scout the world using every other game mode, just not using historical rosters

I could be wrong but I believe "Off" is the default when you choose to import a historic league. "On" is the default any other time.

Yes. In the league creation screen there is an option to create and maintain hidden players. You need that option checked for their to be players from other countries for your scouts to discover.

I'm doing a mixed historic fictional sim now based on the 70's and have been mining for hidden talent left and right. If the option is on when you build the league it will work.
