Another 1901 and beyond sim crashed

For some reason I just can not get through 1904. For this league I went with 1901 historicals, importing real guys, etc. and created a Triple-A league where I pushed Opening Day back to April 14th (big league starts on April 1st) and disabled the DH and left the rest almost the same.

1901, '02, '03 all sim perfectly. 1904 crashes. Always. I do not understand why.

Could it be a problem with teams not having enough players and/or pitchers?

Illegal number players/pitchers should generate an in-game error, not a crash.

What date in 1904 does the crash occur? When do you have your draft scheduled?

One thing i noticed before the patch was that if i just changed a debut year in the master.csv of the lahman database the game would always crash in 1920. The year i was changing Babe Ruth's debut year to.
But when i deleted his stats from 1914-1919 i never had a crash. I havent had any crashes and have been able to just change the debut year and so far i havent had a crash since the patch.

The date is never the same. Sometimes it's April, today it was June, etc.

My draft has consistently been March 15th for all of my failed sims.

Ran another sim today from 1905 onwards and it crashed in mid-1917. It's never crashed in 1917 before.
