How Can I Replace One Team?

I'm trying to start a historical league and used Lahman 53. Imported the whole 2005 season. Now I want to replace the 2005 Pirates with the 1971 Pirates. Could do it with earlier versions of OOTP but can't figure out how to do it with the new game.
Thanks for any help you can give me!!!

This is what I got from MorseMoose. It's only for one player at a time though. Not sure if there's a easier way to get a whole team.

If you are in your league (after creation) and go to "Transaction", click "Import Historical Player". Then there it is! Find the database (usually titled Lahman) then click "master.csv", then "confirm." Then a box should pop up asking you some question (fairly self explanatory).

Lahman ID is: first five letters in last name followed up first to letters in first name then a 01 (if they are the only player with that name). Example: ruthba01 is Babe Ruth. aaronha01 is Hank Aaron. You'll run into troubles with popular names. THen I'd go to baseballreference.com and search the player, in the URL, it has the lahman ID. Then I choose "Year" and then choose your preference for "potential ratings on...". That should do it! ANy other questoins, just ask!

You would then release the 2005 Pirates players. I don't know how to delete them though.

Wow

Thanks for the reply. It was easy in the games before this one. I could just delete the team and then import the team I wanted. Wonder why they did away with that easy method?

It's a whole new game engine. Lots of stuff that people liked such as tracking no-hitters and 20 game winners in the Almanac didn't make it to this one.

I don't know if the ability to import a team didn't make it. I haven't had the need so I haven't looked for it. You can look in the game guide to see if there's any information about that.
