Top position player and pitcher from your sim(s) so far?

I thought it would be cool to create a thread where we can each post who our top position player and top pitcher is from the sims that we run. When you make your post obviously be sure to include when you started simming and what season you're currently at, so we have some kind of idea of how amazing the stats really are.

Some people are probably going to wonder how they decide who their top player is and to that I say, it's really up to you. It's your league, so if you feel the guy that has the most homeruns and also does well in other categories too is your best position player to date, then talk about him. Or it can be the person that leads in the most positon player categories or pitcher or whatever.

I'll start off, since I came up with the thread. I started my league in 1901 and I'm currently at the start of the 1957 season. I'm using Ankit's database to run my league.

Top position player: Tris Speaker (1907-1935)
Stats:
Games: 4329
Hits: 5097
2B: 1097
3B: 411
HR: 198
RBI: 2216
R: 2896
BB: 2488
K: 424
SB: 825
AVG: .305
OBP: .396
OPS: .852
VORP: 1480.4

Top Pitcher: Bob Feller (1936-still playing)
Stats:
Games: 833
Wins: 477
ERA: 2.50
IP: 7207.2
K: 5432
CG: 702
SHO: 119
WHIP: 1.11
BABIP: .257
VORP: 1920.8

I started simming in 1901 and have went to 2013. Here's my best players:

Top Position Player: Babe Ruth(1915-1940)

Games: 3951
AB: 14174
Hits: 4726
2B: 701
3B: 182
HR: 1025
RBI: 2866
Runs:3124
K: 1924
BB: 3383
AVG: .333
OBP: .461
SLG: .626
OPS: 1.086
VORP: 2438.8

He only went to the postseason once with BOS in 1915. He won the MVP 18 times.

Top Pitcher: Satchel Paige(1928-1944)

Games: 737
Wins: 465
Losses: 259
ERA: 2.57
IP: 6622.2
K: 4871
CG: 695
SHO: 99
WHIP: 1.05
BABIP: .271
VORP: 1753.7

He threw for 400+ innings 4 years in a row and it seemed to take a tole on him. Before 1935, he had 6 years under 2 era and after 35', he never got below 2.31 again.

He was a great pitcher in the postseason. He went 12-8 with a 2.00 era over 184 IP. He won 12 Cy Young's too.
