DB load crash

I have been reading where people have had DB crashes on loads, but I am running DB crashes on the importing of real rookies into the draft pool. It has happened every time. Iam either thinking it is the game or maybe the DB I have on my computer is corrupt. I seek your wisdom on magic historical board. I am using Lahams DB and it should be the last one he put out.

Make sure you have the "comma-delimited" version of the DB. You could always use the Arod23/Garlon2006DB too, link in my signature.

Very odd, I like to play my games out but when I just quick play them, the DB does not crash, but when I manage it crashes.

Ok, after trying everything under the sun I have decided toun-install06 and re-install it. Hopefully, the game will be able to import players after the first year. The game was importing the first time,but the second year and beyond,there was no new rookies or a draft, so maybe a clean install will fix it.

Well, the re-install did not work. Ihave tried three different DBs and my league will not import new sets of rookies.
