Historical League - Fictional players?
I am trying to start a historical league. I followed "Bruce M's instructions". The initial Major League rosters have fictional players. Is it possible to start a league without fictional players?

How To Start A Historical League Using Lahman
You can follow those directions for either Lahman or Arod/Garlans DB.

I've looked at the sticky on importing historical players.
question: is there any way to import them WITHOUT their going to a specific team, or will they automatically go to the team for which they played? |

There is an option in the League Setup > Other Function to release all players and schedule an inagural draft. And then set up an Amatuer Draft to continue to draft the new players each season.
