A few questions if you could help...

I'm usually a fictional player and, when I'm bored I'll sim a hundred years of a historical league just to pore over stats. I've decided now is the time to get immersed in a historical league. I know how to import and I've seen BruceM's timeline and I even think I can handle the expansion part pretty well. But there are still some things I need to know.

1. Around what time period did teams switch from 3 to 4 to 5 man rotations?
2. When did relief pitchers come in vogue and what was the timeframe of the evolution to where we are today and how should I set up my options to replicate?
3. I've noticed during my quick-sims that some players, while still valuable, sit on the reserve roster. Is expansion alone enough to keep this from happening?
4. I want basic minor leagues (AAA, AA, A). I am not concerned about fictional players being involved in the major leagues. Actually I think it would be pretty cool. Will the game fill these at conception or will I have to do this manually? What will be the talent level of these players? After the draft every year, will I have to fill minor leagues with fictional players or does the draft continue to the 25 rounds with fictional players making up the remainder to fill the rosters?

All I can think of for now. Thanks for your help in advance guys.
