Unassigned at this second as unduplicated. I think the .dat will need to be zipped to be looked at.

10-4. Should I hold off on installing patch 2 then?

No, you should hold patiently, until the patch comes or a request for a zip + email is made.

Maybe this can be fixed without more detail. Maybe it cant be pinpointed. All I know is that there are many beneficial items in the current patch candidate, and that there will be several patch cycles.

Some of the stuff in the patch?

Just FYI, I merged some related threads. This is still issue # 1992, and has not yet been resolved, to my knowledge.

Still an issue for patch 1.02

By the way, I've had the exact same issue. I have OOTP 2006 1.01 or whatever. I uploaded a league from OOTP version 6.12. In OOTP 6.12, his speed was 11, or he threw over 100+. In this version, he throws 101+, however I've played 2 seperate games, and both times, he pitches slow. Everything about in the 70s. Other players seem to be fine. There is one pitcher I can think of this may also happen to, since I created him in the draft to be Randy Johnson type clone, gave him 11 pitch speed, which is 101+ in OOTP 2006. Might be some kind of glitch since pitch speed was technically from 1-10, and this fell in on 11.

Yeah, I have noticed this with the latest build, and I also imported my league again from 6.12 after installing the final build.

You are right, I have seen this with a couple of pitchers with 101+ velocity in my game.

The question, and I guess only Markus knows for sure, is whether this is cosmetic, or whether the game treats this as if they are throwing softballs up there

Anyway, I am glad to know I am not alone with this

Pretty sure its cometic. My closer throws 101+, though during the games he's tossing BP it seems. Anyhow, his era was a career best 2.12, so has no effect on actual ratings.
