AI should keep track of no-hitter in progress

I don't know if this should be classified as a bug or an enhancement request.
While simming, I noticed the following: Roger Clemens had a no-hitter going into the 9th inning leading 1-0. He got the 1st out and was pulled for a reliever who promptly gave up a single. From the box score it appears that he was pulled due to pitch count. I'm thinking that if he has a no-hitter, the AI should be a bit more lenient on the pitch count.

I know why. The Pirates always do stupid things.

In all seriousness though, that shouldn't have happened.

What on earth is Clemons doing playing in Pittsburgh anyway? I think he would shoot himself first.

Perhaps by then he's about 63, on his tenth comeback, and Pittsburgh is the only team who'll take him?

A bit off-topic here, but what kind of pitching settings do you have for your league? Both teams throw 1 hitters!!! That game must have taken about 1 hour to finish.

But I do agree, a pitcher that is throwing a no-hitter should never be taken out of the game unless he has thrown a ridiculous amount of pitches (like 140-150+).

Hey, I didn't notice the other team had a 1-hitter also. Wow. That must have been a nail biter. All manager settings are default settings. I did a historical sim with an innagural draft so that explains why Clemens is on the Pirates.

bump

It would be nice to be able to stop a sim and watch the 9th inning of a no hitter like we could in previous versions as well
