Sorry it took me so long to get to this thread.

I believe this issue was resolved in 1.0.2. Can you tell me if you have seen this issue appear again?

I am still seeing this happening in 1.0.2. It occurs when you change the default Manager's name from Joe Unknown to anything else (when starting a new game).

I just noticed it only happens with modded first-names files, though. I was using Porb's female first names file.

I'm still not able to replicate this. I tried using Porb's first name file, and it all comes out fine. So, I'm thinking this issue has been resolved...

Hmm, I also just noticed it seems to have a connection with Hispanic last names. Could it be connected to the fact that I'm also using a modded nations.txt? (I changed all "non-existent" talent nations to "poor" talent.)

Nope. Just tried making a new league with the female names file and the original nations file. Same problem.

Alright, I have managed to reproduce this bizarre error, and have logged it as TT # 2287.

This issue has been claimed fixed in the next patch, but has not yet been verified.

Not fixed in the new patch.

I use a custom made name file. I havent edited any managers' names and I' seeing the same stuff in the upcoming release patch.

Thought this was claimed fixed? However, #2287 is not even listed as being fixed in the final release post. The message to Markus must have slipped through the cracks. Please get this fixed as it's frustrating trying to edit all of the messed up names.
