New Patch Error 201 FTP Connect Problem

I downloaded the new patch and now when I do an export via FTP I get this error 201 connect error

What could be wrong?

Just to confirm, were you able to export to FTP with this same league previously?

Now when I do a Test connection it says fails to connect to server. I always could connect prior to the new patch.

Do I need to change some of the settings now to something different ?

Steve do you use Windows Firewall? I had this issue until I got a free version of a firewall to take its place, and almost all my issues with connecting to FTP for import/export for anything as well as OOTP started working again. We will continue to monitor the issue though.

I turned off my Norton Internet security for 30 minutes and the test connection is now sucessful; however, I can no longer do an import/export of FTP team exports. I could do this in the previous version without turning off the Norton Internet secuirity option, Why is this now different ?

Do I need to change any of my old settings (that worked) because of the new patch...............why ?

HELP !

Can you change your network settings for OOTP with Norton's to allow it incoming and outgoing priviledges without any restrictions? I don't use Norton's because of the bloated state it is in, and how much a memory and resources hog it is..

We are keeping close eye, hopefully the others that have more expereince with Norton's products can help here.

I can't get the FTP to work in my game.
I use an external FTP client with the same settings just fine, so I don't think it's a firewall problem, although I did turn that off, and it still didn't work.
One thing i think might be a problem is that my username is an email address, is there possibly something in the game that wont recognize this as an email address?
Everything else is fine, the one thing i haven't tried, is to change my port number, but I used the default in my external FTP client, and it worked fine, so I don't think it is that either.

Yeah, we are seeing another issue as well with the latest update, so I am going to merge yours with another and get them consolidated.

Just trying to work on all aspects of your issue until we can get a response on the FTP problem now versus 1.01.

Trying to read a few threads in beta to get a idea, when I get more, I will post it.

We have both problems in the TT, so they can verify both situations, that is why they were combined.. Fix the one, and most likely we are going to fix them both. I would try changing a port setting robster, and see if that fixes it for you, but for now both are going to be addressed.
