Bug - Can't see catcher arm rating in Webcast

Since we're encouraged to post one bug at a time and my general thread about all of the Webcast/Broadcast View problems has been treated more like a feature request for next year instead of a bug fix, here's one item needing an immediate bug fix.

You can't see the catcher arm rating in the Webcast. It doesn't even fit in the screen. Even if you move it and fix it, how can you read black on black type? Is there any way for us to modify this screen for just plan black type on a white background. I don't even care about the graphic. I want the info.

Also can't see the runners

Here's another screen of how impossible it is to see the runners or their ratings.

Everything could be resolved by removing the layer or transparency and simply displaying black fonts on white background and get rid of the graphic.

What resolution is your display set at?

1024x768. Does your display look better? Can you see the info? What resolution is yours?

Anyone else have this problem?

I can't reproduce the running-over-the-edge bug, but I agree that the black text is a little hard to read, though for me it's because it's too small. If it was a little bigger, like the text above it, it would be better. Here's what it looks like on my system. This is at 1280x800. At 1024x768, the text is the same size. It's still centered, though at either resolution, and so does not run into the frame or border of that part of the screen.

Can anyone figure out why it would overlap when I'm at the same resolution? What other settings could influence this?

I still can't read the catcher rating with black on black in your view either. I hope Markus can change the graphic where everything displayed is black type on white background. We really don't need a graphic.

I don't get the overlap (I am in 1280x1024) but I do notice a big difference in the display in full vs windowed and how much space is used.

FULL

WINDOWED

I think this might also be a culprit in my Brodcast/Ballpark problem that I will try and take a look at later today.

I think you found the bug. My display is messed up in windowed but works in full screen. Although the black type on black background is not really my definition of "works." Something needs to be done to allow us to change this graphic.

I went into the file and changed, but there is a layer or transparency that imposes the black background and I don't know how to edit. Also, since some text is in white, I guess a white background wouldn't work either.

Maybe just displaying the runner and catcher ratings in white type would work.

This has been claimed fixed in the next version of the game, but I don't have the TT # handy right this instant...

Thanks,

Steve
