Pitching After Game Ends
I wasn't paying too close attention, and put in a reliever to pitch the 9th, except, the game was over. Other than proving I'm too tired to be playing, I did notice that the pitcher was credited with a game, despite not actually pitching.

Sorry for the delay in looking into this, let me see if I can reproduce it and I'll get back with you.
To continue, I played out the game got to 3 outs in the 9th and then tried to click on the tab for my team's bench so that I could sub in a new pitcher. When I clicked on it the game went to the boxscore so I was unable to reproduce this. Is there any more info or details you can give me to help me to get this to happen? If not, maybe it was just a one-time thing.

No problem, I was thinking you replied pretty quick.
I was able to reproduce tonight, although it's not something you would normally do. After the game, I went to the substitution screen, and tonight it went right to the box score. I'm then able to go the substitution screen, and bring in anyone to pitch who didn't play in the game, and they will appear in the box score with 0 IP, and all 0's through ERA. I was able to bring in 11 guys and give them all a game pitched. Not a huge deal, because it's not something you would normally do, although it shouldn't allow you to change your pitcher after the game. |
