Scrolling+Draft = Crash?
I just started a new league using the 12262 patch, MLB only with all of the minor leagues. I had the option set to "alway use scrollbar" but when I went into the inaugural draft, set the scouting to my head scout, and tried to scroll down, the game crashed and gave me an error (0700 I think?). Is this a new issue, or is it just because I hadn't set it to scrollbar before?

Error: 0070 Scrollbar slew values are invalid
Running with the latest patch (1.0.2.12262), before the inaugural draft, I am looking at the show all players tab under transactions. There are 7920 players displayed. Whenever I change the scouting, I get the following error.
Error: 0070: Scrollbar slew values are invalid I press OK in the error box, and OOTP2006 closes with the following notification box. OOTP2006.exe - Fatal Application Exit Application was unable to continue. However, when I switch from using the scrollbar to using the page selector under OOTP Preferences, this crash does not occur. I know that Markus is on vacation, so this probably won't be fixed anytime soon, but I wanted you to be aware of it, so that it can be fixed in the future. Since there is a workaround, I would not consider this gamebreaking, but some others might. |

Does this happen in the Show All Players screen from the League Menu/Transactions, or the Show All Players screen within the Draft itself?

Does it continue to happen when you restart the game? If so, please zip and email the .dat files to markus.heinsohn@sigames.com and refer him to TT# 2415

I was getting this exact error message from the in game Web cast.
See this post here. Error: 0070: (terminal) I was asked to send my game file in to be checked, but No-one responded to my questions as to where to send the file or how to send the file (or what files to send.) I have been un-able to play much 2006 (if any after the new patch) so I have not been able to duplicate the error, though as I said before I got it many times in various leagues. |
