"START EVERY X GAMES" Error.
Since I upgraded to the new patch (v.2), I am unable to set my depth charts to start a particular substitute every X days. The drop down box works, but that player is not inserted into the line-up as I have selected. I've tested this over and over. It doesn't matter if it's every 2 games or every 10, that player just does not start.
Example: SECOND BASE Starter = Player A Sub 1 = Player B (start every 3 games) Sub 2 = Player C (start every 3 games) After several games Player A = 42 games started Player B = 4 games started Player C = 0 games started (Note, I have MYSELF as manager / commish and with complete control over depth charts and lineups - no bench coach sets lineup or anything like that.) Anyone else with this problem? |

I apologize that it has taken so long for a response to this thread. However, this issue has been logged as a bug to be fixed for OOTP 2007 (TT#20). Thanks.

Just to clarify, Markus didn't regard this as a bug per se. That is, the depth charts features are used exclusively when you auto-play a game.
So, when you play out a game, it always uses your basic lineup, and won't take into account any substitutes you have placed in your depth charts, unless there is an injury. So, the plan is for 2007 to change that so that games played out will use whatever lineup would have been used that day if you auto-played. Make sense? Thanks! Steve |
