Sub for Pitcher Injury

Apparently I made a mistake and posted this in suggestions when it should have been here. Here's the initial post.

Largely an interface issue, but here's the situation. My pitcher is on base as the lead runner and slides into third - safely - during the play, but gets a concussion. The game immediately brings me to the substitution screen (and won't allow me look at any other screen) until I put a player in the injured player's slot (9th).

I try to select PR (which is exactly the case!), but to no avail. It won't allow PH either. I'm compelled to select P in order to continue play. Then when I return to the game and finish the inning, the next inning I am - rightly - informed that I have selected a position player to pitch. There is only the OK button, presumably to assure the game I've read it. (?)

The steps can be followed, but not intuitively and there's always room in these substitution screens for irrevocable errors. In this case it should be obvious that I need a PR, not a PH or a P. When the inning's over, if I am asked to confirm my new positions and lineup would be chronologically sensible, IMHO.

Understand, and thanks. I hope that's available to you soon given that this area currently stands and just over 30 threads; very manageable to move to TT status before it has that tendency to spread into 4-5 pages.

Good luck with that.

Thank you. Ran into this again in today's gameplay. In this case, the pitcher was not injured, but rather than risk a similar occurence I let the pitcher stay on as a runner until the next inning. I'm confident this menu selection will be addressed appropriately.
