2981 - One Pitch Mode

I thought this was going to be different from last year and that you could choose full pitches or one-pitch mode but it appears to be the same as last year. Am I missing something?

There's a button in the strategy selection box that lets you toggle pitch-by-pitch and one-pitch modes.

Is it possible to use toggle one-pitch mode during a 'Watch' mode game?

You know, oddly, if that question ever came up before, I missed it... Anyone care to doublecheck this?

I suspect that if you go into the game, switch to one-pitch mode, and THEN relenquish control, it should work. But that's unconfirmed.

I just tried this, but it went back to pitch-by-pitch mode.

Ah, well, that's too bad.

If someone on the beta team has a minute, could you log this as a feature request for Markus to take a look at?

No, you can't. I'm a bit chuffed about that.

Thank you. I'd really like to be able to just watch a game and have it autoplay with one-pitch.

Where do you find the manual. My OOTP2007 does not seem to have a manual.

You can also go to the Help (questionmark) menu in-game and select manual. That will take you to the same page they linked above. We didn't include it in the installer, because it's 20MB, and we figured some users would prefer to download such a large chunk separately...
