3222 - rule v scheduling

I started a historical league in 1993 and after the 1993 season I enabled the Rule V draft during the preseason period prior to the 1994 season. After playing the 94 season out, i noticed the Rule V draft is scheduled for 12-1-2007

any way to fix?

I'm trying to duplicate the problem, but I can't figure out how to enable the Rule 5 draft. Please explain the procedure you're following.

hey thanks for taking time to look at this:

Start a historical league and make sure Rule V draft is not enabled (League Setup --> Rules)

Sim a season and when you start the preseason enable the draft from that menu. The option should become avaiable since its a preseason only option.

Sim another season. Check the "Baseball" Menu to see the date is for 12-2007.

Thanks, I spent about 15 minutes last night looking for this option!

I'll take a look tonight when I get home and if I can duplicate it, we'll get this logged for you. I'll keep you posted.

Just wanted to let you know this problem is still happening. Historical league starting in 1970 - Rule 5 Draft was enabled from the beginning. League was created using the most recent patch (not an old league from a previous patch). Just got to my first offseason and the Rule 5 Draft is set for 12/1/2007 even though I'm still in October 1970. I guess no Rule 5 draft for me this year.

I think I read somewhere that they thought this problem was fixed in both patches 1 and 3, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Is there any way for me to fix this so I can have a Rule 5 Draft this year?

Can you export your league to csv and check in the league_events.csv as to the date of the Rule 5 draft. If it's wrong, you can edit the date in that file, save it back as csv and use my importer (http://www.bourtonville.co.uk/OOTPEditor/publish.htm) to reimport league events - it's on the league tab on the button Load Events.
