Allstar Team Subleague Names Not Converted
I have a PC.
V2.0.1.43 Fictional League I used a quickstart game with 6 leagues. In League News, Category 142 (Allstar Game Announcement). Allstar teams' subleague names are not listed for Major League, AAA, AA, A, but are correct in S A and R leagues. It shows only "Sub League 1 Allstars" and "Sub League 2 Allstars" in four of the classifications. In the two lowest leagues it would give the correct name of the subleague...as in "Cotton League Allstars" or "Dixie League Allstars". I changed the League Structure. I made each league consist of two subleagues with one division each. 8 teams in each division. I also went in and changed all of the teams' names and changed the names of the teams' stadium. Then I simmed for 30 years. I followed Steve's instructions and check all the links and the forum for this problem. I didn't see it. I will restart another quickstart and see if the problem is there. I will use the game default settings and make no changes. If this works, then I will open another default league and make some changes in the league structure to see if the problem shows up. |

EC, any word on your follow-up tests? If this is happening, we should get it logged.

It's possible I've misunderstood Eugene's issue, but I think I've seen the same thing. Changes made to subleague names or anything else that affects the "configuration" of All-Star Games do not transfer over to the ASG teams' names. Regenerating the schedule does not affect it, nor does it seem to fix itself for the next season.
I don't have an explanation for why it didn't affect Eugene's bottom two leagues though. |
