Weather & Southern Hemisphere
I run a league based in the southern hemisphere, where the seasons are reversed. It seems that OOTP 2007's weather isn't smart enough to adjust for this. Can we get this fixed?
thanks, -n |

Can you give some months, temps, and locations that are giving trouble? The data is in a txt file, and the data is listed month by month for each city. I wonder if it is arbitrarily making JUN, JUL, and AUG hotter, and DEC, JAN, and FEB colder from the weather file baseline. |

still waiting for an answer to this. can we add new entries to the weather.txt file? I tried, but the game doesn't seem to be using them. I'm still getting 30 degree game temperatures in certain cities. Any help?

I'm sorry, but I can't seem to find any help with this one. I'll put in a request to have countries located in the southern hemisphere use the correct seasons, regardless of whether or not exact cities are specified.

From what I gathered in a quick investigation, it seems that the weather does not take into account the hemisphere. January temps in Australia are arbitrarily cooler than they ought to be, and July is hotter than it ought to be.
I think it is a bug; the weather needs two sets of random modifiers, and those modifiers need to be connected to the latitude of the city. |
