Recently I was offered the managing job for AAA Tupelo in the Memphis organization after managing AA Little Rock to a first place finish. Three of the first four messages I receive are these:

I don't know what's happening but Tommy must be getting tired of packing. Any way to stop this?

I've played a couple more days and this continues. The problem with it is that I can only play one day at a time as every time I try to Auto-play, the game stops because I have another personal message that he's been promoted and demoted.

is this with the patch?

When I click on Check for Updates in the Game menu, it tells me I am running the latest version.

I have gone a few more days and the same thing continues.

Edit:Well, I guess I was not. I did not download the game at all untill at least a couple weeks after release and I thought when I downloaded that it was the updated version, apparently was not. Now up to 2.0.1.43 so I'll see what happens.

DandricSturm, what are the roster limits you have for your minor leagues? Have you changed the defaults?

Majors 25 man active, expands to 28, 40 man is limit is 33
AAA 25 man roster
AA 25 man roster
A 35 man roster
16 teams in each league.

What has happened since the above stuff. I single day advanced to the winter meetings, hoping something would jog the AI's elbow so to speak but the up and down continued. I put myself on vacation and advanced to the beginning of the pre-season. Shortly after the winter meetings, Thomas gained a companion, Keith Lewis, who joined him on the up and down express. Then, on New Year's Eve, both of them were released. I thought that would be the end and started working toward the next season. Leap Day, Feb 29th, 1984, Thomas is resigned as a free agent and has been back to his old tricks ever since, three days at this point.

My minor league rosters are not full but I have allow ghost players checked.

My memory fails me on the exact numbers but I think your limits are below what is needed for the AI to better control this sort of transaction. Try setting them higher so the AI has more flexibility.

Please give more details please. What are your limits and can you post screenshots of the transactions.

Majors - 25 man roster now expands to 30, 40 man limit now 40.
AAA - 30 man rosters
AA - 30 man rosters
A - 35 man rosters

These are the only leagues, no high school or college.

Top, a somewhat atypical message from the earlier times. Most messages only listed T Webb.

Middle, the message I got shortly after expanding the rosters.

Bottom, the most recent message.

Before expanding the rosters, I used the fill teams with fictional players function, then expanded.

My Major league team presently has 35 players, AAA 30, AA 15, A 8.

EDIT: BTW, I'm going to edit T. Webb to give him the nickname, 'Tangled.'
