playoff games scheduled in "dormant" leagues

Not sure if this is a bug or a feature request...

The other day I was trying to make a league go dormant for a year by emptying the teams' rosters and scheduling no games, including turning off the ASG and playoffs. Unfortunately, since OOTP is now programmed to break ties in no-playoff leagues via one-game playoffs (which is a change I otherwise appreciate), it tries to find a pennant winner by scheduling such playoffs between three 0-0 teams per division (seemingly chosing the three teams that are lowest in alphabetical order), which then predictably results in a "team suchandsuch does not have enough players" error.

Any chance that the programming could be changed such that 0-0 teams are excluded from such playoff scheduling, even at the risk of there being no pennant winner?

This would be a feature request. Markus did not code the game to handle "dormant" yet "existing" teams. For now, you'll have to delete the league that you want to be dormant, and bring it back later...I would guess. I'm not sure how the stats would be recorded, or if they'd just have a blank and then continue where it left off or whether it'd be treated as a new league altogether. I've never played it that way. You could always run some tests and let us know!

It would be nice to be able to just make a league "inactive" for situations such as this.
