My batter was cloned!

Mike Goldsmith got a single, then he cloned himself and was pitched to for a ball. I clicked on the on base version of him to see what was up, and the batter switched to the guy who should have been up. Here's a snippet of the game log to illustrate:

I don't know what would cause this, or what would have happened had I kept swinging instead of investigating, but it was weird.

The first one. And I'm using the Mac version of the game, if that matters.

I just saw this too:

Fortunately he swung and missed again after striking out (and the pbp actually said strike four - wish I had a screen of that), but if he had gotten a hit, that could've caused some big problems...

And I'm on PC, with the beta patch. Also, I've seen this bug one other time - before the first patch was released. It is very rare, but it happens.
